Mr. Dyress Mawindo

Non-executive Chairman

Mr Mawindo holds an MBA from the ESAMI Business School and Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Malawi. He has extensive experience both in the legal and public sector professions and holds directorates in numerous sectors of Malawi’s economy.

Mr. Gray Nthinda

Managing Director

Mr Nthinda holds an MBA from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK and a BSc (Hons) Estate Management from the University of the South Bank UK. He is a member of both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation (IRRV) and has a certified diploma in accounting and finance (CDipAF). Mr Nthinda has worked for MPICO in various capacities for over 23 years more recently as General Manager to the date of his appointment as Managing Director.

Mr. Andrew Barron

Outside Affiliated Director

Mr Barron holds an H.N.D. in Business Studies from the University of West England. He has extensive expertise in real estate and holds directorates in a number of prominent Malawian companies.

Mr. Stewart Malata

Independent Director

Mr Malata holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Stirling, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of Malawi. He holds a number of directorates in companies in the finance, manufacturing and telecommunications sectors and has had broad exposure to a diverse range of industries in Malawi.

Mr. James Regout

Outside Affiliated Director

Mr Regout holds a Masters in Business Economics from Stellenbosch, South Africa. He is an experienced portfolio manager and at present he is External Investments Manager for Old Mutual Asset Managers (SA) (Pty) Limited with executive responsibility for Old Mutual Malawi’s asset management operations. He also holds directorates in a number of prominent companies in the Malawi economy.

Mr. Cosmas Katulukira

Chief Accountant & Company Secretary

Mr Katulukira is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a holder of a BComm (Accountancy) and a Diploma in Business Studies and is responsible for the Group’s accounting functions.

Mrs. Ellen Nyasulu

Facilities Manager

Mrs Nyasulu holds a Masters in Real Estate, a Post graduate Certificate in Facilities and Estate Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration and is responsible for the management and administration of MPICO’s property portfolio.

Mr. Lloyd Nkosi

Property Manager

Mr Nkosi is responsible for MPICO’s Blantyre property portfolio and holds a bachelors degree in Urban Estate Management from Westminster University in the UK and a Bachelor of Social Science Degree from Chancellor College.
